Opportunity Skybound Games is looking for a video games obsessed Senior Brand Marketing Manager who is a grandmaster at their craft to lead and support brand marketing efforts on several unannounced games. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager is a staunch professional who has helped launch and manage live service AAA games with at least 7 years of relevant experience in video game marketing and/or covetable entertainment franchises. They take a proactive approach to help drive key campaigns and activations with an understanding of the nuanced skills required to build world class creative and deliver it through flawless execution. They are creatively minded but results-oriented with a high-level of competence on how to define and measure KPIs to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This role will partner directly with content marketing, product marketing, the games art department, internal and external creative services teams and agencies to ensure product strategies and brand objectives are met in all consumer-facing marketing assets. Additional experience in user acquisition, performance marketing and experiential executions are welcomed. The ideal candidate must have strong instincts for creative strategy leveraging data-driven audience insights and trends in pop culture, and be able to lead and contribute meaningfully to marketing initiatives. They will oversee day-to-day management of external creative agency partners and control the pipeline of strategy, ideation, development, testing, and production of campaigns and their corresponding asset ecosystems, while also interfacing with our development partners and keeping stakeholders informed. In addition to being a master of writing airtight briefs, their project management skills are impeccable, and they are comfortable writing and presenting persuasive rationale to help drive consensus across all levels, including executives. Reports: This position will report to the Senior Director of Brand and Content Marketing. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Help lead and develop creative global marketing plans that deliver against product objectives and create synergy across a multitude of owned and paid channels. Collaborate with internal and external partners to create high quality trailers, core assets, and promotional content that will support our marketing strategy. Partner with our paid media agency and product marketing team to ensure media objectives support business goals. Support partner-led campaigns and activations utilizing our IP and ensure a high quality bar is consistent throughout applications. Lead creative strategy and development with external agency partners and help drive internal approvals. Lead creative feedback loops with internal stakeholders, agencies, and the ESRB to ensure our creative plans are ready and delivered in a timely manner. Partner with internal creative services and social producers to manage the overall pipeline. Help drive creative iteration and optimization. Lead creative briefings and attend subsequent creative reviews to provide feedback and direction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree. 7 years combined experience in gaming, brand marketing, or creative agency. Ability to work across multiple teams. Proven team leader with people/agency management experience. Passion for gaming or entertainment brands. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. Results oriented, self-motivated. Organized and detail oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
