Job Description
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment entertains audiences around the world, focusing on the transactional in-home business across physical and digital releases of new and library film and television shows. The global brand marketing team is responsible for developing product and marketing strategies for home entertainment consumers across new release, catalog, and television product. The brand manager is responsible for the ideation, development, planning and execution of new release home entertainment titles with additional opportunities and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate across the organization to ensure that studio and internal stakeholder needs are being met as it relates to DreamWorks animated and other theatrical new release titles.
Maintain timelines for release plans including proactively building agendas for regular calls and track deliverables.
Manage communication between all relevant parties across both the department as well as the wider divisions across the NBCUniversal portfolio
Owner of the Marketing P&L. Gather cost information from cross-functional teams, perform analyses, and secure approvals from stakeholders. Develop sales goals and spend recommendations by looking at performance of comp titles and adjusting for market and other factors. Ensure projects come in on budget and profitability is maximized
Develop marketing briefs and creative asset requests, ensuring that all project creative materials are executed according to strategy. Support International physical and digital teams to greenlight titles, initiate the creation of needed assets, and approve requests. Work closely with SDS (a joint venture who handles sales, manufacturing, and other functions for our physical business), brand partners, creative teams, third party studios, and more to oversee execution.
Lead dialogue on projects at marketing team meetings. Discuss upcoming deadlines and share latest updates and foster conversations between teams to ensure projects are working smoothly and timely
Create and distribute sales sheets and presentation slides. Pitch films and marketing campaigns in various venues, from informal calls to large-scale sales meetings.
Set up and maintain titles in UPHE systems. Work with the Operations, Creative and Finance teams to create item numbers, component numbers, and project codes. Ensure that legal rights are documented. Maintain proper records of key information. Must have some comfort with accessing new platforms and internal software tools

Qualifications: Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, particularly in marketing or business or supplemented with equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in consumer marketing, project management, strategic planning, analytics, and/or media planning
Ability to lead strategic initiatives in a consumer-driven business
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Desired Characteristics:
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly.
Ability to think creatively and problem solve independently

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
