Your role As the Head of Communications for Region North America, you will act as a strategic partner who not only executes but also aligns with our overall plan and vision, ensuring a significant impact on our business. In this role, you serve as the primary spokesperson for the company in North America, establishing and maintaining relationships with key media outlets and stakeholders. This position may require some travel (~30%), notwithstanding any travel restrictions in place either at country, region, or global level. Key Responsibilities Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand in the North American market. Lead the development and execution of effective media campaigns to promote product launches, corporate initiatives, and industry advancements. Prepare executives and subject matter experts for media interviews and public speaking engagements. Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support. Monitor industry trends and public perception, proactively identifying potential issues and developing appropriate communication strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs and global communications, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts. Your Qualifications The position requires an experienced communications professional who demonstrates sound business judgment and can work closely with mid- and senior-level leaders in the organization to develop and drive effective and engaging communications. To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 10+ years of experience in a communication, public relations role. 3+ years of experience in managerial or leadership experience in the same function would be advantageous. Experience in working with product launch teams in a public company or IPO is preferred. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
