Position Overview: Serves as a Quality Assurance Citation Writing Coordinator for Healthcare Quality, reviewing and editing Reports of Visits (ROVs) for state and federal facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate quality assurance reviews for Report of Visits (ROVs) for state and federal healthcare facilities regulated by Healthcare Quality.
- Conduct line-by-line content, grammar, and regulatory review and editing of all ROVs to ensure violations are correctly worded, listed under the proper regulatory heading, and contain all necessary elements required for potential litigation.
- Assist with facility inspections for all facility types regulated by Healthcare Quality.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Healthcare Quality regulations, including regulatory changes impacting ROV information and facility citations.
- Provide feedback and training to Healthcare Quality inspectors and investigators as part of quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with all program areas within Healthcare Quality and the agency's Office of General Counsel to identify areas for process improvement.
- Perform all other duties as assigned, including participation in disaster preparedness and responses.
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant program experience.

Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
A master's degree and two (2) years of relevant program experience or a bachelor's degree in English, Education, or Journalism. Experience facilitating one-on-one or small group training sessions.
Driving Record: If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver’s license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
