vcfo is seeking a Marketing Coordinator


We are adding an experienced Marketing Coordinator to our corporate team in Austin. You’ll have the opportunity to support marketing initiatives for each of vcfo’s offices, as well as relationships with external marketing consultants such as writers, designers, videographers, SEO, SEM, and HubSpot consultants.


What does this role look like? This position will report to the Marketing Director and presents an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and creative marketing professional to support a wide range of marketing and communication initiatives at vcfo, including event planning, content development, social media management, and marketing automation.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting day-to-day aspects of the company’s marketing program including a mixture of hands-on execution and management of creative resources in support of all marketing efforts, internal and external
  • Collaborating with marketing team to execute on projects such as content development, email campaigns, sponsorships, website projects, branding/strategic projects, social media and more
  • Event planning and support including venue and catering research, promotion, invitation list management, registration, on-site event hosting, and post event follow up
  • Hands-on ownership of the internal process of publication of blogs
  • Hands on ownership of the publication calendar for e-Newsletters, landing pages, email, nurture programs, and collateral
  • Hands-on ownership of award application process for internal and external nominations
  • Creative development and execution of social media and management of all channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter
  • Hands-on ownership of collateral inventory; perform as-needed updates of corporate marketing materials and swag and manage distribution to all markets for use at events
  • Maintain accuracy of company marketing data to include updating of contacts data in HubSpot as well as list management
  • Management and execution of email marketing campaigns using HubSpot ensuring publication schedules are met
  • Creative production and execution of internal and external webinars including development of slide deck presentations
  • Support and execution of miscellaneous internal communications and projects
  • Harness the power of AI to bolster creativity and efficiency; use ethical AI solutions to enhance internal workflows, provide inspiration, and conduct experimentation to improve delivery of marketing initiatives


Requirements – Successful candidates will have:


  • 2-5 years in a marketing related role
  • Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
  • Project management experience with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Graphic design, layout, and attention to detail on materials presented to clients and prospects
  • Excellent writing skills and experience proofing, editing and publishing material to print and digital formats
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas in an organized, efficient and effective manner that results in clear understanding and action
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and interest in current trends in AI and digital marketing strategy


Preferred Skills:


  • Background in B2B digital marketing with strong understanding of best practices for SEO / SEM, web-to-lead conversions and marketing automation
  • Management experience in producing webinars, video or podcasts


Software Skills:


In addition to having the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software, to perform this job successfully, knowledge of the following is required:


  • HubSpot Marketing, Content, Service, Sales, and Operations Hub
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills (intermediate or higher, specifically Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Canva
  • Google Analytics and Semrush are a plus
  • Eventbrite or other invitation registrations software
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Slack
  • Asana
  • Zoom (meetings and webinar management)
  • ChatGPT, Gemini, or other Chatbots for use in productivity
