Marketing Manager – Build the Brand, Grow the Business, Drive Impact At Soundtrace, we’re redefining hearing conservation. Businesses have relied on outdated, inefficient hearing testing methods for decades—but the market is ready for change. We’re bringing hearing conservation, an OSHA-regulated program, into the digital age, making compliance simpler and hearing loss prevention more effective. Companies want to do better, but many don’t realize there’s a better way. That’s where Soundtrace comes in. Our founder-led sales approach has already secured major enterprise clients like Caterpillar, Ozinga Concrete, Olympic Steel, and Bob Sumerel Tire, spanning manufacturing, construction, transportation, and heavy equipment. We’re growing fast, and as demand accelerates, we need a marketing leader who can build our brand, generate leads, and establish Soundtrace as the go-to solution in hearing conservation. The Role: Be the Foundation of Soundtrace Marketing As our first marketing hire, you’ll work closely with our founders to build and execute our marketing strategy from the ground up. In the short term, you’ll run our current playbook, learning our brand, audience, and customer journey. But we don’t want to just maintain—we want to level up. Your goal will be to iterate, expand, and refine our strategy to drive sustainable growth and position Soundtrace as the leader in this space. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own every aspect of marketing: from brand storytelling and content creation to lead generation and event execution. You'll have the autonomy, creativity, and resources to make Soundtrace a recognized name in the safety industry. What You’ll Own & Drive Brand & Messaging: Develop and refine Soundtrace’s brand voice, positioning, and messaging across all channels. Create compelling content that educates, engages, and converts safety professionals. Own sales enablement materials, ensuring our sales team has the right tools to close deals. Lead Generation & Growth Marketing: Expand beyond founder-led sales—test, iterate, and refine scalable lead generation strategies. Support outbound efforts (~20% of the role) and uncover new channels to generate leads (Ads, SEO, content, etc.). Work with the sales team to track and optimize lead sources and marketing ROI. Events & Conferences: Manage 20+ industry events per year, ensuring we maximize brand visibility and networking opportunities. Own conference outreach, preparation, and follow-up strategies to drive pipeline growth. Content & PR: Develop thought leadership content, including case studies, blog posts, and customer success stories. Oversee LinkedIn, email campaigns, and PR initiatives to increase brand awareness and engagement. Launch and manage webinars, podcasts, and industry collaborations to establish credibility in the space. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy: Work directly with Sales, Engineering, and Leadership to align marketing with business goals. Establish OKRs to measure and report on marketing’s impact. Shape the future of the marketing team—this role has long-term leadership potential. About You You’re a versatile, self-driven marketing generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You know how to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution and love the challenge of building something new. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment. Proven ability to build and execute integrated marketing campaigns (events, content, outbound support, case studies, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can take complex ideas and make them compelling and digestible. Exceptional organizational and project management skills—you’ll own the entire marketing function, so prioritization is key. A test-and-learn mindset—you’re constantly iterating, refining, and improving. Preferred: Experience marketing a SaaS or technology-driven product. Understanding of the workplace health and safety industry. Why Join Soundtrace? This isn’t just another marketing job—it’s a chance to build something from scratch. You’ll have the autonomy to craft our marketing strategy, the backing of a company with strong traction, and the opportunity to make a real impact in workplace safety. If you’re excited by the challenge of establishing a brand, generating demand, and driving change in an industry that needs it, we’d love to hear from you. Ready to build something great?
