About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chair for its Communication Sciences and Disorders and Speech Language Pathology program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to the department, fostering a collaborative and dynamic faculty environment, and ensuring the preparation of students for leadership roles in their careers, society, and church. This is a full-time, 12-month tenure track faculty position with a focus on in-person engagement and a commitment to excellence through inclusiveness. Applicants for the Chair position should have a strong academic background in communication sciences and disorders, with a focus on speech language pathology. The role involves overseeing the academic and professional development of faculty and students, as well as managing the department's budget and resources. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in research, teaching, and service, and be dedicated to the mission of the institution. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required, and experience in a leadership role within an academic setting is highly desirable. The Chair will also be expected to promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the department and the broader academic community.
