As a Group Design Manager, focused on Business Intelligence, you will lead a team responsible for delivering on foundational Reporting capabilities across the Intuit ecosystem, and a new Business Intelligence offering for our most valuable customers which delivers proactive business insights and helps with financial planning. You will play a critical role as the connector between designers in the US and developers in India–enabling world-class distributed product delivery. This role requires an experienced leader who is comfortable influencing senior leaders, delivering high-quality designs, and developing a team in a highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Lead initiatives of significant scope, complexity, and responsibility in creative vision, strategy, and execution Deep understanding and balance of customer, business, and shareholders needs and cross-functional partnership, collaboration, and decision making Strong communication (written, verbal, and visual), influence, and persuasion skills Actively engage in the leadership triad (PM, Dev, Design) to guide strategic vision, drive alignment, and deliver with high quality Drive outside-in, customer-centric thinking, doing, and building during the entire product process – from vision and exploration to narrowing and curation of every touchpoint to be excellent Communicate design direction and intent with customer-backed and defensible principles and frameworks Minimum Requirements

10 years of experience in Design, plus 5 years leading teams. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Design Strategy, or equivalent relevant experience Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality design output through a team Knowledge and experience in delivering product design deliverables such as design prototypes, documentation, design specs, assets (web and mobile), or similar Strong business acumen and experience in managing multiple stakeholders and senior leadership expectations Experience leading and managing a 5-10 designer team, or groups of teams. Experience managing managers and remote teams is a nice-to-have Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
