Senior/Lead UX Developer - Onsite Job at Cognizant Technology Solutions in Washi

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Lead UX Developer with a strong background in front-end development and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on concurrent projects in dynamic environments and managing scope changes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of user interfaces for enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design specifications.
• Develop and maintain web applications using modern web development tools and frameworks.
• Build and use RESTful APIs.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility (IE8-IE10, Firefox, Safari, Chrome).
• Utilize JavaScript file bundlers such as Webpack and Rollup.
• Implement design systems and work with SPA frameworks like Angular and Vue.
• Use CSS compilers (e.g., Sass, LESS) and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3, amCharts, Wijmo).
• Develop browser-rendered UI components and graphics systems (SVG, Canvas, WebGL).
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to story tasks.
• Produce deliverables within tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 15+ years of experience in Software Development.
• 15+ years of front-end development experience, including 8+ years as a Senior/Lead UX Developer.
• 10+ years of experience writing TypeScript with React.
• 9+ years of experience building/using RESTful APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills.
• Experience working with UI/UX designers.
• Knowledge of modern web development tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, npm, Gulp, Jenkins).
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and pitch in on story tasks.
• Experience designing for enterprise applications is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Material UI.
• Experience with other SPA frameworks such as Angular and Vue.
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3, amCharts, Wijmo.

Compensation: - $90,000 to $130,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted till 03/12/2025
