We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director for our Ophthalmology Global Marketing division. This leadership role involves driving our global marketing strategy and commercialization efforts for our Ophthalmology pipeline assets. With a focus on innovative treatments for DME, wAMD, RVO, and other retinal diseases, the Executive Director will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value and differentiation of our assets in the global market. For more than 35 years, our company has been committed to scientific research and discovery (R&D) in ophthalmology. Today, we are developing a series of options designed to help people manage and treat retinal conditions, with the goal of reducing the growing burden of eye diseases worldwide. We remain committed to working together with our partners in the global ophthalmology community to address the complex challenges that impede progress toward improving eye health. Primary Responsibilities: Lead Global Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the Ophthalmology pipeline, encompassing treatments for DME, wAMD, RVO, and other programs. Drive the development of asset strategies tailored to specific treatment modalities and target patient populations. Collaborate closely with our Research & Development Division (R&D) to influence the development of innovative treatments and ensure commercial viability. Support Launch Readiness and Commercialization: Drive the development of launch strategies and commercial plans for new retinal treatments across global markets. Ensure timely and effective commercial launch alignment across all cross-functional teams and commercial affiliates. Develop comprehensive market access strategies, including pricing guidance, to maximize patient access and uptake. Foster Leadership Excellence and Global Influence: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and across the organization. Lead a team that will focus on key cross-functional activities such as Listen, Learn, Lead (L3), Enterprise-Go-To-Market (EGTM), market research, and global forecasting. Lead the commercial transformation and leadership of Ophthalmology, including new ways of working, embedding advanced analytics, evolving the commercial models, and building value for patients, payers, and healthcare professionals. Provide oversight and direction for a cross-functional, cross-geography team supporting the ophthalmology pipeline. Education Minimum Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education:

Advanced Degree (MBA) Required Experience and Skills: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries. Prior launch experience. Preferred Experience and Skills: Leadership and Impact: Proven track record of high-performance launches and driving business results. Global Marketing experience and country and/or regional marketing experience. Ophthalmology commercial experience. Demonstrated leadership in the development of brand strategy, brand positioning, and brand marketing. Communication and executive presence: Ability to clearly articulate messages/information across the enterprise and to all levels, including highest levels of senior leadership. Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to leverage innovation to drive results. Collaboration & Influence without authority: Strong collaboration skills, both within commercial teams and cross divisional teams including R&D and manufacturing, medical affairs, Outcomes Research and Access. Understanding of Drug Development Process (Early and Late Stage). Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear patient and customer centric strategies. U.S. Hybrid Work Model Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected US salary range:
