Job Description
Summary of Position: Sales and Marketing Associate will focus on achieving sales and/or profitability objectives from new clients or existing accounts. Responsibilities include meeting a minimum monthly/quarterly quota based on experience and target territories, serving as the first point of contact for all customer requirements, and maximizing revenue growth. Regular activities include prospecting via phone, e-mail, or other mediums; conducting a minimum of 40 sales calls per day; follow-up communications; and engaging with clients at sponsored events. The associate will identify marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, and develop proposals using existing templates and resources.
First-year potential for total compensation is $40,000-$100,000. It requires building relationships to generate new clients and opportunities, producing revenue consistently to meet and exceed sales goals.
This position requires well-honed communication skills. Candidates must be articulate and capable of working with customers to identify their needs. This business has over 20 years of experience with a 95% client retention rate. This is a ground-floor opportunity with excellent upward mobility for the right person.
As a Sales and Marketing Associate, you will:
Market and generate sales successfully to key business verticals, such as Fortune 1000, Fortune 2000 private companies, Universities, School Districts, Government and Public Sector, and others. Plan and execute solid marketing and sales strategies to build, promote, and sell our services and products. Be responsible for sales prospecting, presenting, partial closing, and semi-managing of customers. Conduct daily sales calls, set and attend sales appointments, network, maintain customer records, and engage in client-based research. Proactively develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding, and providing solutions. Experience Requirements:
Expected travel time: 30%. Previous sales experience or related field preferred but not required. Proven track record of success in achieving goals. Strong writing skills. Excellent oral communication. Ability to manage projects solo and with project team members. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to research effectively to identify and reach new customers. Ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships. Financially driven. Superior interpersonal skills. Great closing skills.
