Whole World Improv Theatre, a non-profit 501(c)(3), is seeking to hire a Social Media & Marketing Director. Position Title: Social Media & Marketing Director
Compensation: $20 per hour
Reporting: The position reports to the Managing Director and collaborates closely with the Artistic Director and company members.
Working Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Nights and weekends may be required.

Position Overview:
Whole World Improv Theatre is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Marketing Director to oversee and develop content that promotes our shows, classes, and outreach events. This role is ideal for someone passionate about engaging audiences through digital platforms to expand Whole World's brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and create engaging content for Whole World’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, to drive audience engagement and promote key programs.
Ensure digital assets are properly sized and formatted for the website and external promotions in collaboration with the Managing Director.
Develop marketing strategies, manage budgets, and analyze the performance of campaigns.
Collaborate with staff, company members, and students to generate innovative social media strategies that enhance
audience interaction and community outreach.
Utilize scheduling and design tools to maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure a unified brand voice.
Design and distribute Whole World’s weekly e-blast, developing and curating content to inform and engage audiences.
Expand marketing efforts to reach new and diverse audiences through strategic outreach.
Submit events to local partnership platforms such as Midtown Alliance, Art Currents Atlanta, and WABE.
Design and manage printed materials for shows, classes, and sponsorship opportunities.
Tools & Platforms:
Canva, Photoshop, Later.com, Hootsuite, Instagram, Facebook, Linktree, Mailchimp, Google Suite
Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
Proficiency in graphic design and email marketing tools.
Strong marketing and communication skills, with a focus on audience growth.
Expertise in graphic design tools like Canva and Photoshop.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
A passion for the arts and an understanding of improv theatre is a plus!
