Our Lady of Sorrows in Sharon, Massachusetts, a vibrant community of 900+ families, is seeking a part-time Director of Music and Organist. Responsibilities include:

1. Planning music for and accompanying three weekend masses, Holy Days, and Christmas/Holy Week.
2. Providing music for funerals and weddings (supplemental income).
3. Rehearsing cantors and directing:
1. A 20+ voice Adult Choir
2. Children’s Choir
3. Funeral Choir
4. A monthly teen choir
4. Utilizing the well-maintained Estey organ and Vose & Sons grand piano available in the sanctuary.

Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of Catholic liturgy, good interpersonal skills, and a degree in music. Salary is commensurate with education and experience and includes a full complement of benefits.
