The ability to research codes, building products and systems, and solve design problems is essential.

Responsibilities
- Working with the principals and team leaders to prepare 2D and 3D design documents (AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp)
- Creating, editing, and managing construction drawing sets
- Assisting with project correspondence, schedule, and budget
- Code research (planning and building)
- Collaborating with the Principal on design direction
- Project management of small projects, from conception through construction administration
- Research and specify materials and systems with a focus on aesthetics and budget
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years of residential work experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop
- Knowledge of Type V construction and ability to prepare construction drawings
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinating with multiple agencies and consultants.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Must have an attention to detail and a strong commitment to the final product
- Excellent leadership, motivational and collaborative skills.
- Ability to develop complete sets of construction documents
- Construction Administration experience on job sites
- Working knowledge of CBC (California Building Code)
- Excellent graphic, rendering, and verbal communication skills are a must
- A working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Suite, Microsoft Excel and Suite
