Position Title: UX Professional (Architect/Designer)
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6 months contract with possible conversion to FTE
Work Arrangement: Fully remote within the US
Pay Range: US $90.00 - $103.00 per hour

Who we are looking for / Requirements:

1. 5+ years in Product Design or related fields, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
3. Experience in service design, system design, cross-functional facilitation experience is a must.
4. Experience shipping products across platforms and mentoring others.
5. Strong understanding of interaction, visual, content, motion, and research design.
6. Expert proficiency in Figma, Miro, usertesting.com, Dovetail, and industry-standard tools.
7. Portfolio showcasing design process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
8. Experience defining patterns, style guides, user testing, and prototyping.
9. Solid grasp of software development and collaboration with developers.

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

1. Lead design for web and mobile digital products.
2. Simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
3. Use Design Thinking to develop concepts, run sprints, and prototype solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design vision.
5. Define design systems, patterns, and style guides.
6. Conduct user research and testing to refine designs.
7. Effectively communicate design rationale and strategy.
