ABOUT
We are a Integrated Creative Agency based in Philadelphia, PA. We’re passionate about removing the friction that can exist between products and people, through a combination of strategy, creative communications, and product development. As a growing agency, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Social Media & PR Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of social media, public relations, and digital marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO…
- Overall
- Assist in creating and executing agency social media content and public relations
- Partner with agency leadership team to develop social media and PR KPIs and establish plan to success
- Integrate across agency departments to understand upcoming news-worthy moments to highlight in social media and/or PR
- Report into head of Account Management, collaborating in plan strategy, creation of content, and communication priorities
- Social Media Support:
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content on behalf of the agency across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor agency social media channels for engagement, interactions, and trends
- Support in creating weekly reports on social media performance and audience insights.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content is aligned with client branding and campaigns.
- Develop and institute social media thought leadership within the agency
- Develop influencer strategy across clients
- Public Relations:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press materials, including press releases, media kits, pitches, and award submissions.
- Support media outreach by compiling press lists, reaching out to media contacts, and following up on pitches.
- Monitor and track media coverage for clients and update media reports.
- Research relevant industry news, trends, and opportunities for coverage.
- Monitor and share relevant events for team members to attend for networking or general education
- Content Creation:
- Assist in writing blog posts, newsletters, and other content pieces for agency.
- Participate in agency brainstorms to contribute to social media and PR extensions of creative campaigns.
- Administrative Support:
- Help maintain organized files for media coverage, social media content calendars, and project timelines.
- Assist with event planning, influencer outreach, and campaign tracking as needed.
YOUR CREDENTIALS
- Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) and digital marketing trends.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Experience with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for creative marketing and public relations with a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
- This role will be onsite 2-3 days a week.
