Description

The Marketing Director of TROY is a high-level, dynamic, and innovative executive responsible for managing all facets of the organization's marketing efforts, with the ultimate goal of generating leads, increasing sales, and elevating the company's brand presence. This includes leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive rolling twelve-month marketing strategy for TROY's products and services. The Director will act as a critical leader in aligning marketing initiatives with corporate objectives, while providing hands-on guidance and mentorship to the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Team Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team, including providing guidance, mentorship, training, and performance management to ensure alignment with company goals. Empower team members to excel by fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to drive business growth and achieve measurable targets. Analyze market trends and customer insights to ensure the strategy is impactful and relevant.

Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to design pricing strategies, create sales enablement tools, and ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and revenue goals.

Campaign & Content Management: Ensure the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (direct mail, digital, social media, events, etc.). Support the team by assisting in campaign management, content creation, and design through tools such as Adobe Photoshop and other Adobe products.

Digital Strategy & SEO: Oversee the development and optimization of the company's digital presence, including website development, SEO strategy, and metrics tracking to improve visibility and engagement.

Partnership Management: Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies for web development, video production, and other creative services, ensuring optimal results and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Budget Oversight: Monitor the marketing budget, analyze ROI from various projects, and reallocate resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Product Positioning & Market Research: Conduct competitive research to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Leverage findings to adapt pricing and promotional strategies for sustained market advantage.

Brand and Thought Leadership: Champion the company's brand identity across all initiatives. Create thought leadership content, such as whitepapers or eBooks, that enhance TROY's reputation as an industry leader.

Essential Functions:

Spearhead projects such as product launches, sales training, promotional event oversight, and strategic communication initiatives.

Develop and execute marketing plans for new and existing products and services, integrating compelling product positioning and multi-channel marketing approaches.

Lead customer engagement initiatives, leveraging innovative messaging to expand TROY's reach among existing and potential customer bases.

Monitor and adapt marketing strategies to emerging trends, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of its industry.

Education & Experience:

Minimum ten (10) years of managerial experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably in business-to-business markets.

Proven expertise in digital and traditional marketing, including content creation, SEO, and campaign management.

Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems is essential, with HubSpot experience highly preferred.

Exposure to enterprise software markets or sectors such as SMB, financial services, industrial production, or government verticals is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success in product marketing and innovation through market research, needs analysis, requirements documentation, and implementing go-to-market strategies.

Strong background in managing Channel/Partner programs and devising growth-oriented marketing strategies.

Experience presenting marketing strategies to executive audiences, including Boards or C-suite executives.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields required; a Master's degree is a strong plus.
