Coordinates and participates in field trips, sporting events, and academic competitions. Evaluates efficiency of enrichment and recreation personnel and organized program activities. Oversees work location and assignments of Out-of-School Area Program Supervisors and other personnel. Plans and conducts training programs for personnel, parents, and community organizations. Monitors student attendance and projects its impact on the program budget. Identifies programs with declining attendance and proposes methods to increase it. Assists in screening applications for positions and interviews applicants. Composes and designs marketing materials for enrichment and recreation programs. Facilitates team meetings with program personnel. Drives to various sites to coordinate activities and meet with staff. Minimum Requirements: Education: A minimum of 12 semester units in early childhood education or related fields from a recognized college or university. One year of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education. Experience: Two years of experience supervising a recreation or enrichment program. A bachelor’s degree may substitute for up to eighteen months of the required experience. Special Requirements: A First-Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of employment. A valid driver's license is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
