Our client is an internationally established leader in on-line and off-line commercial design with over 30 years of experience all over Europe and 15 years in Asia.

They work with major global brands on retail design and strategy from their offices in New York City, Paris, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. They are currently expanding the New York office and U.S. footprint.

Designer Profile:

• We are looking for a talented retail designer who is pro-active, very creative, organized and able to handle international and local projects from start to completion.
• You will partner closely with a team of designers, CAD designers, graphic designers and 3D designers with the support of the Technical department.
• The ideal candidate will combine creativity, technical knowledge, material understanding, and relationships with third party partners.

Interior Designer Profile:

• We are looking for a talented Interior Retail Designer who is pro-active, very creative and organized.
• You will be successful in this role if you are autonomous and able to handle world-class international and local projects from brief to execution.
• You will be responsible ensuring projects align with brand identity, customer experience, and operational needs.
• Your role involves a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and project management.
• Working under the supervision of the Design Director, you will work closely with a team of interior designers, graphic designers, 3D designers, digital strategists, technical support, and world- class creative directors.
• The ideal candidate will show a transversal expertise and combine creativity, technical knowledge, material understanding, and relationships with third party partners.

Requirements:

• Degree in Interior Designer, Architecture, or related field with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in delivering high quality concepts and projects in the retail and hospitality sectors.
• Exceptionally creative with a strong ability to develop innovative retail concepts and experiences, spanning various scales and formats, including both pop-up and permanent installations.
• Knowledge in construction, finishes, materials, manufacturing methods, and production processes.
• Knowledge of retail trends and best practices.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite( Photoshop & Illustrator) and Auto Cad.
• Skilled and expert in Rhino or SketchUp.
• Proficient in V-Ray, Key Shot, Escape, and other 3D/creative software is a plus.
• Proficient in presentation software programs (Keynote / PowerPoint) and MS Office.
• French / Chinese are a plus.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop groundbreaking and innovative concepts, crafting compelling presentation decks that blend creativity, luxury and mass-market aesthetic with brand storytelling
• Design sophisticated store layouts, fixture placements, and visual merchandising for optimal flow and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with diverse projects teams, including in-house design teams, architects, contractors, and vendors to execute designs within budget and timeline.
• Create presentations for design concepts and align with brand executives and retail operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to luxury retail standards, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
• Utilize Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and 3D rendering tools for precise design execution.
• Participate in cost estimates, material selection, and vendor negotiations to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct store checks and gather facts, briefs, competitors, and best practices.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
