Wondery is seeking a dynamic Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team and drive engagement across our diverse portfolio of chart-topping podcasts. As a Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our brand and show voice and growing our audience across social and digital platforms. You'll lead the ideation and execution of innovative social media campaigns, collaborating with a talented team of marketers, creatives, and content producers.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Brainstorming innovative social media concepts that resonate with our diverse listener base
Overseeing the production and distribution of engaging social content across multiple channels
Analyzing campaign performance and iterating on strategies to continually improve results
Partnering with platform representatives to leverage the latest features and best practices
Community building and management
Presenting performance reports and recommendations to leadership

Key job responsibilities Develop and execute Wondery's social media growth and engagement strategy across existing and emerging platforms
Drive always-on social media campaigns that deliver measurable results aligned with key business objectives
Collaborate with external creative agencies to produce innovative, best-in-class social content
Manage creator partnerships, overseeing selection, content approvals, and performance tracking
Stay at the forefront of social media trends, continuously adapting our approach to maximize engagement
Analyze and report on social channel performance, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Analytics, Legal, and Content teams to ensure alignment and compliance

You'll dive into brainstorming innovative content ideas, crafting attention-grabbing posts, and developing unique social campaigns that make Wondery stand out. While collaborating with teams such as Marketing, Content, and Franchise, you'll transform compelling story ideas into shareable social moments. Your creative energy drives the development of viral-worthy content, from witty tweets to engaging Instagram stories and TikTok trends. Between ideation sessions and campaign planning, you'll stay on top of emerging social media trends, ensuring Wondery remains at the forefront of social.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in multi-territory campaign management
Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
