Plan A Technologies is looking for a talented and experienced UX/UI Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of leadership in UX/UI architecture and a portfolio that effectively communicates project narratives, including problem statements, OKRs, KPIs, strategy, results, and impact.
As a UX/UI Architect, you will lead the design strategy, develop scalable UI frameworks, and define measurable OKRs and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of design solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that user experience goals are aligned with business objectives and contribute to improving ROI through enhanced usability, conversion, and engagement.
Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Architect, demonstrating strong design vision, product strategy, and research, with a strong focus on business impact, ROI, and data-driven design decisions. A strong portfolio is required and it must include: project narratives, including problem statements, OKRs, KPIs, ROI, strategy, results, and impact and it must showcase end-to-end UX/UI solutions and data-driven design decisions that demonstrate ROI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead the UX/UI architecture and design strategy for digital products, ensuring seamless and user-centered experiences that maximize business value and ROI.
- Define and implement OKRs, KPIs, and ROI metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of UX/UI decisions.
- Develop scalable design systems and UI frameworks to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design best practices to enhance usability for all users, improving adoption and retention rates.
- Translate complex challenges into intuitive, user-friendly experiences through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, A/B testing, heatmaps, and behavioral analytics to optimize UX/UI solutions and enhance business outcomes.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify pain points and optimize conversion rates, reducing churn and increasing ROI.
- Develop and track key UX/UI metrics such as: Task success rate, Net Promoter Score (NPS), User engagement & retention, Conversion rates & drop-off analysis and Cost reduction through UX optimization.
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations that drive business and product decisions, leading to measurable ROI improvements.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design objectives with business goals and revenue targets.
- Facilitate design sprints, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment across teams.
- Ensure smooth implementation of UX/UI designs by collaborating with engineering teams and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Conduct post-launch analysis to assess the impact of design decisions on business performance, user satisfaction, and ROI.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful UX projects and a deep understanding of design principles.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure).
- Experience with research tools and how to gather insights (Usertesting.com, Lyssna, UXTweak, heatmaps, A/B testing tools).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong foundation in Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Agile UX.
- Ability to align UX/UI initiatives with business goals, ROI, and OKRs.
- Experience guiding and developing UX/UI teams.
- Strong analytical skills, leveraging KPIs, ROI analysis, and research to make informed design decisions.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and drive to do great things.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience designing for mobile platforms and responsive web applications.
- Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Strong understanding of behavioral psychology and user motivation frameworks.
- Background in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
