Job Description:

The Lead Business Development position is a strategic role focused on new customer acquisition and business expansion within the Sports, PR, Advertising, and Arenas industry. This is a proactive, consultative sales role aimed at securing new logos and developing long-term partnerships with major organizations in professional sports leagues, gaming, entertainment, media, and global advertising networks.

The ideal candidate will have strong industry relationships within:
• Professional sports leagues and networks (including basketball, football, and hockey)
• Gaming and interactive entertainment companies
• Major PR and advertising agencies
• Entertainment and media conglomerates
• Hospitality, gaming, and sports betting firms

This role requires close collaboration with internal market development teams, solution architects, and industry SMEs to develop and execute winning go-to-market strategies.

Job Responsibilities
• Industry & Client Understanding: Develop deep knowledge of client business models, industry trends, and digital transformation opportunities in sports, entertainment, PR, and advertising.
• New Business Development: Lead new logo acquisition efforts by positioning our companys services and solutions for high-value engagements.
• Executive Relationship Building: Establish and nurture CXO-level relationships across professional leagues, agencies, and media organizations.
• Strategic Deal Origination: Identify, develop, and close high-value, multi-year partnerships that drive measurable business impact.
• TCS Ecosystem Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with market teams, solution architects, and delivery units to structure and secure large-scale deals.
• Innovation-Led Partnerships: Create and drive technology-driven solutions for clients, leveraging AI, cloud, data, and digital transformation capabilities.
• Consultative Selling & Thought Leadership: Engage in executive discussions to showcase how our expertise in fan engagement, digital monetization, and AI-driven experiences can accelerate business outcomes.

Qualifications:

12-15+ years of enterprise sales and business development experience with a strong track record in Sports, PR, Advertising, or Entertainment.

Proven ability to acquire new clients and close complex, high-value deals in a competitive market.

Strong relationships with decision-makers in professional sports leagues, media, gaming, and advertising sectors.

Deep expertise in digital transformation, AI-driven engagement, and fan experiences.

Prior experience working in IT services, consulting, or technology solutions is a plus.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Location: NY or GA East Coast - Remote

Salary Range: $180,000-$220,000 a year
