Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Business Development professional to drive new business acquisition and strategic growth in the Broadcasting & Media sector. This role is focused on securing new logos and expanding relationships with leading broadcast networks, media houses, streaming platforms, music & entertainment companies, and digital content providers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong industry presence and existing executive relationships in:
• Broadcast and cable networks (news, entertainment, sports, and lifestyle programming)
• Streaming platforms and direct-to-consumer media brands
• Media production, post-production, and content distribution firms
• Music, digital media, and entertainment companies
This role requires a high-energy, strategic thinker who can collaborate across business units, drive consultative sales conversations, and deliver transformative digital solutions to media organizations navigating rapid industry shifts
Job Responsibilities
• New Business Development: Own and drive new customer acquisition in the broadcasting, streaming, and media sectors by presenting transformative technology solutions.
• Industry & Market Expertise: Stay ahead of industry shifts, emerging trends (e.g., AI in content creation, cloud-based production, personalized streaming), and the evolving digital media ecosystem.
• Executive Relationship Building: Develop and expand CXO-level relationships across TV networks, media production houses, digital streaming giants, and music/entertainment companies.
• Consultative & Solution Selling: Engage decision-makers in strategic discussions to showcase how AI, cloud, data, and next-gen content distribution solutions can enhance operational efficiency and viewer engagement.
• Strategic Deal Origination: Identify and develop high-value opportunities to modernize content workflows, ad-tech, fan engagement, and data-driven programming.
• TCS Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align media-tech offerings with customer needs, crafting tailored technology roadmaps for broadcasting and media enterprises.
• Revenue & Growth Targets: Own revenue and pipeline goals, drive large-scale strategic pursuits, and secure multimillion-dollar deals.
Qualifications:
10 -12 + years of business development experience with a strong track record in broadcasting, media, entertainment, or streaming industries.
Proven success in acquiring new clients and closing complex, multi-year deals. Strong relationships with decision-makers in TV networks, streaming platforms, music/media companies, and content production houses.
Deep expertise in digital transformation, cloud-based content workflows, AI-driven media analytics, and next-gen OTT experiences.
Experience working in IT services, consulting, or technology solutions for media and broadcasting clients.
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Salary Range: $180,000-$220,000 a year
