OVERVIEW:
The Creative Marketing Director position will be part of the Corporate Marketing team and report to the Vice President of Marketing. The role will be responsible for helping to bring to life Pratt Industries' brand story and identity as seen through the eyes of important audiences, including customers, business partners and employees (current and potential), among others. This role will also help to creatively showcase and communicate the various capabilities and services offered through Pratt Industries' business divisions and departments. The position will help to continue to build a strong marketing team by leading the creative development process and by directing and mentoring other employees.

Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
  • Helping to define and create consistent brand visuals to tell the Pratt story across our
    marketing communications platforms and channels, including websites and digital media,
    sales assets, employee communications and in person events/meetings, among others.
  • Defining scope, timeline and budget of creative projects then managing, delegating and
    executing as needed to a successful completion-within budget, on time and to stakeholder
    expectations. Examples include but are not limited to: customer events and meetings, facility
    tours, sales campaigns, employee recruitment campaigns, multi-channel sponsorship
    opportunities, product kits and more.
  • Managing direct reports as assigned.
  • Finding and managing reliable third-party vendors/contractors and services to fill any
    creative gaps in team capabilities.
  • Ensuring that creative projects have a defined and usable end product/purpose that benefit
    the organization and produce a return on investment, including internal costs (time and
    bandwidth).
  • Thinking strategically to maximize usage and reach of creative work and assets with minimal
    extra work or cost. For example, cutting down a longer video for social/digital media and
    website purposes or re-purposing a customer specific campaign to benefit other teams by
    broadening the audience and reach.
  • Acting as a responsive creative partner and lead for marketing requests, including: events,
    customer meetings, sales campaigns, special projects and recruitment/employee outreach.
  • Proactively finding ways to expand our creative offering and services to the larger
    organization.
  • Helping to create an organized system for cataloging projects and assets for easy reference,
    updates and sharing within the team and across the organization as needed.


EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in a creative role such as creative/design manager,
    marketing/brand manager, advertising manager or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead creative strategy from conception to timely deliverable/s.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and third-party vendors; direct management experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience leading creative projects for diverse marketing needs including sales/campaigns, websites, digital advertising, events/trade shows and internal communications.
  • BA/BS in graphic design, art or similar degree, or equivalent work experience.
