Sales Person - Design Build

Successful commercial and residential project sales required

We seek an experienced, entrepreneurial salesperson with a flare for imagination, insight, building relationships and closing. Our company is number one in the Chicago market. Our projects are both exterior and interior. On staff we have interior design, architectural, structural and construction expertise and capabilities. We are committed to our niche but want to broaden our reach. If, on one hand, you like to nurture a client. but on the other hand. you also like the exploration of new opportunities/markets, we are for you.

Our ideal candidate will be a professional and have at least 5 years of experience successfully selling design build projects – is knowledgeable of construction issues, knows the Chicago area markets and is able to meet clients at their convenience.

Duties

• Sell projects.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Promote and sell products or services, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of each.
• Follow up with customers during construction to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

• Proven, successful experience in design build project sales.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer inquiries.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Degree with education in design, architecture, construction management or related fields.
