Do you believe content is king and digital platforms offer a whole world of marketing opportunities? If you answered yes, Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company, an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment, emergency vehicles and lighting products, is seeking a driven Digital Content Manager to join our existing six-person marketing team in Fort Collins, CO.

Position overview:

The Content Manager's primary responsibilities will focus on writing, editing and optimizing content for nine different brands while utilizing a variety of digital platforms, including WordPress, Mailchimp and social media, to publish the produced content. The ideal candidate should be an avid proofreader who geeks out over metrics to gauge the effectiveness of the content. The company's nine divisions are listed below:

The candidate should be strong in messaging and value benefit-driven campaigns across digital mediums. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premier). Skills in video production (both shooting and video editing) are a plus. The position will require ongoing maintenance of website content/information. The ideal candidate should be able to see a concept through all the way to competition.

Skills and special requirements:
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with AP Style and press release writing
  • Proficient or advanced knowledge in keyword research and SEO strategies
  • Ability to create and post social media content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok
  • Experience working with social media influencers is a plus!
  • Ability to monitor social media metrics for channel growth
  • Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop/Premier (to create social media images and video reels)
  • Experience with WordPress or similar web content management systems
  • Experience working in CRM, like HubSpot
  • Ability to write and design email campaigns; Mailchimp experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects using existing resources
Education/experience:
  • College graduate with multiple years of marketing experience in an agency, marketing or newspaper setting
