Job Description
The company is currently seeking a Service Writer/Advisor to become an integral part of our team! We're looking for someone with service writing/advising experience at another shop. The position pays $600/week salary on a 5 day period, plus 3% commission of gross profit once the training phase is completed. We are a mechanic/body shop looking for someone highly motivated, humble, with a good work ethic and great at team work. Someone who is business-minded is preferred so that they can eventually be promoted to a manager. We have built a great reputation with our client-base and we refer to them as clients instead of customers since we have established a relationship with them and have become their trusted mechanic shop. Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and communicate clearly about repair recommendations and service processes.
- Service Coordination: Efficiently manage work orders, schedule appointments, and liaise with technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
- Problem-Solving: Decipher customer concerns, provide insightful solutions, and offer cost-effective repair options.
- Vendor Managment: Build and maintain positive relationships with multiple vendors
- Documentation & Follow-Up: Write estimates, maintain detailed service records, and follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Sales & Upselling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Misc: Assist in whatever is needed at the shop
