This role requires exceptional written, digital, and visual storytelling skills and a passion for animal health. While primary responsibilities focus on content management, basic graphic design skills are desired. This position collaborates closely with the Communications Director and Marketing Team to deliver high-quality content across various channels including digital, social, email, and our website.
What you'll do:
Content Creation and Writing: Develop, write, and edit persuasive content for website, presentations, customer-facing emails, reports, and other communication materials. Craft compelling narratives and informative content, demonstrating excellent command of language and storytelling techniques.
Content Strategy: Work in tandem with the Communications Director to execute a content strategy that supports both short-term and long-term marketing objectives, focusing on brand awareness and reputation and supporting mid- and lower-funnel campaigns.
Crisis Communications: Assist the communications team in developing and implementing crisis communication strategies, ensuring timely and effective responses to critical situations.
Educational Program Development: Support and contribute to the development of continuing education programs for veterinarians, focusing on current topics and trends in animal health.
Collaboration: Engage with various teams to gather information, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
Content Management: Organize and maintain content libraries and databases, ensuring up-to-date and accessible resources.
Social media and Online Presence: Own social media marketing and communications, driving a consistent and engaging online presence, aligning social media content with broader marketing goals.
Graphic Design & Short-Form Video Editing: Utilize InDesign, Canva, and CapCut to create visually appealing video and graphic content that complements messaging pillars.
Who you are: Demonstrated experience in managing and growing a brand's presence on social media platforms, with a knack for creating content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Video Production and editing experience.
Experience with Contentstack, Asana, and / or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Ability to use data and analytics to inform content strategy and measure the impact of various types of content.
A strong commitment to personal and professional growth, especially in emerging trends and developments within animal health and content management.
What you've done: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, English, Performing Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
3-5 years' experience in content creation, management, and communications. Previous experience in animal health or a related sector is a plus.
Exceptional ability in crafting empathetic and engaging narratives, with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility in various forms of content, including but not limited to articles, blogs, reports and social media posts.
Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for animal care and well-being.
Demonstrated experience growing an audience and engagement through social media.
