As the Digital Content Coordinator, you will execute the content strategy for the North America websites (US and Canada) and mobile app. You are responsible for ensuring content updates are communicated, launched, tested, and measured. You will support the Digital Content team in managing the content library within the content management system and its surrounding processes. The position reports to the SEO Manager and is a hybrid position working 3 days at our Costa Mesa, CA headquarters and 2 days from home.

Content Strategy and Execution
Coordinate and execute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal content updates for the website and mobile app, aligning with the master content calendar.
Produce and manage various content types, including editorial pieces, landing pages, category page content, and product page content.
Plan and execute updates with a mobile-first approach, ensuring content is optimized for user experience and search engines.
Review and approve all content for accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to SEO best practices.
Write copy to optimize all areas of the site (on-page and off-page), including meta titles/descriptions, on-page category copy, anchor text, and product descriptions.
Quality Assurance and Optimization
Pre-launch: Conduct thorough quality checks and testing for new content, site features, and functionality prior to release.
Post-launch: Review live updates for layout accuracy, link integrity, and visual performance across multiple browsers and devices.
Optimize content using SEO best practices, including keyword integration, meta tag creation, internal linking, and schema markup.
Regularly test the site to ensure the accuracy of content and functionality, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
Maintain and refresh content pages based on their lifecycle and performance to meet UX and SEO KPIs.
Content Management and Organization
Organize and maintain the CMS content catalog.
Document CMS processes and create efficiencies in folder organization, content updates, and template usage.
Leverage the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to apply and repurpose assets effectively across campaigns.
Manage page templates, ensuring they are optimized for both user experience and SEO.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication
Work closely with marketing, site merchandising, creative, and digital teams to ensure all content assets are aligned and optimized for launches.
Coordinate timelines, scheduling, and asset requests with internal and external partners.
Participate in team strategy sessions and brainstorming to inform monthly content calendars and long-term campaigns.
Delegate tasks effectively and collaborate with third-party copywriters and SEO agencies.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor content performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights to improve visibility, engagement, and conversions.
Pull relevant data to track KPIs, including organic traffic, bounce rates, and conversion rates, offering recommendations for optimization.
Analyze competitor activity and share insights to inform future content strategies and SEO enhancements.
Use social media and customer feedback as sources for content development ideas and iterative improvements.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve CMS workflows, SEO integration, and content production efficiency.
Document and share processes for cross-functional training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Test and implement new tools or features within the tech stack to enhance content management and performance.

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1-3 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
Experience & Tools
1–3 years of hands-on experience with CMS platforms (preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and a strong interest in learning new tools within the tech stack.
Familiarity with DAM systems and tools like Confluence, JIRA, Wrike, Asana, or similar project management platforms.
Experience in planning and laying out content using Figma or Miro.
Exposure to analytics tools such as Google Analytics or ContentSquare is a plus.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Photoshop preferred.
SEO Expertise
Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including on-page optimization, metadata creation, keyword research, and schema markup.
Ability to monitor and analyze organic traffic data, providing actionable recommendations for improving rankings and engagement.
Skilled in copywriting that is user-first while integrating SEO best practices.
