Job Summary:
Together with the revenue operations team and various marketing vendors, you will own the creative output of HailSolve. You will be the arbiter of our brand, ensuring every training material, digital ad, billboard, editorial, client gift, video, and direct mail piece is aligned with our vision. You will own the development processes for these creatives: project managing them to ensure on-time delivery, writing and designing as necessary, hiring and supervising video production teams, cataloging and managing our creative library, owning a budget, managing and negotiating with creative vendors, and bringing an unerring eye for visual excellence across every creative aspect of HailSolve.
We have recently repositioned and have a few major initiatives in the works. One is to create all of the foundational content the business needs. This includes enablement materials like case studies, testimonials, one-sheets for all products, etc. Another includes developing a more robust content marketing machine, creating a consistent output of well-designed, well-written thought leadership pieces. You will play a pivotal role in that, writing and wielding our marketing vendors and various team members. Direct mail and paid digital are also receiving budget and attention, which will require their own creatives and support. There's a lot to do here, and we think it will be a lot of fun to tackle.
While you will have vendors to manage and a potential few hires beneath you, this is not a position where you will be managing 15 junior designers. The ideal candidate has a copywriting background and is just as comfortable writing and strategizing as they are designing.

Key Responsibilities:
Content & Creative Creation:
- Write, edit, and oversee production of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, videos, whitepapers, social media posts, infographics, editorials, direct mail pieces, and other marketing materials
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Translate content into training materials and internal communications
- Be the de-facto expert on HailSolve's brand and ensure the highest level of quality across every internal and external creative.
- Create and distribute standards, guides, and processes to ensure quality remains consistent.
- Create and manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and publication
- Manage and continually improve the content production process
- Optimize existing content for SEO and audience engagement
- Translate content into different formats and mediums
- Act as the creative resource for every channel HailSolve pursues, creating and advising as necessary.
- Distribute core marketing angles and positioning throughout our products and services, surfacing opportunities for cross-department alignment.
- Work with the revenue operations team to maintain an internal knowledge base
- Mentor and guide junior content creators and manage all creative vendors
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- Analyze and report on creative performance metrics to guide future strategy
- Experience owning a brand and its related output
- Ability to write concise and compelling copy for acquisition marketing, customer retention and brand advertising
- An online portfolio that shows your work, proving your experience with multiple different creative mediums, including but not limited to websites, organic social, paid social, email, brand campaigns, radio/podcast ads, video, product launches, OOH, experiential and/or events
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in copywriting, creative directing, designing, or other similar role.
- Experience with video script writing and production management
- Experience with Figma
- Proven track record developing successful content strategies and campaigns
- Strong portfolio of written articles and advertisements
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush)
- Experience with content management systems (HubSpot or WordPress)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Knows how to build creative teams, manage vendors, optimize processes, and operate with financial prudence
- Comfortable with on-camera appearances and public speaking
