Description
This role will be responsible for editing and post⁃processing visual content for the brand, including stills and video for all print and digital assets. This role will work closely with the creative team to ensure global brand content post production that aligns with Le Labo's brand standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling multiple projects with tight deadlines and must be able to work efficiently, proactively, and autonomously.
Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as an eye for retouching and color, and the ability to understand and adhere to the Le Labo aesthetic and creative guidelines. This position reports to the Global Design Director and is a key member of our in⁃house creative team. This hybrid role is based in our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office.
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the end⁃to⁃end post⁃ production process from photo/video shoot to final deliverables.

Edit photos and videos for various platforms, including social media, e⁃commerce, marketing campaigns, print, etc.

Collaborate with the Design Director, producers, photographers, DOPs to select final assets for postproduction.

Collaborate on brief outlines of footage and/or shot lists, storyboards.

Assemble raw footage, input uncut rushes and sound.

Color grade photo and video content to meet Le Labo's brand standards.

Edit video footage to meet Le Labo's visual language for on⁃brand digital content (IG, TikTok, etc.).

Digitally cut files to edit the film sequence based on the requested deliverables.

Create a rough cut of the video and determine the exact cutting for next and final stages.

Retouch product and lifestyle photos to meet brand guidelines.

Create and maintain a consistent visual style across all platforms.

Collaborate with the designers on sizing and cropping of final assets.

Work closely with the Project Managers to manage the postproduction schedule.

Collaborate with the DAM manager to organize photos and video libraries.

Stay up to date with industry trends and new editing tools and software.

Work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.

Present prepared content to senior creative and brand leadership as requested.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience working in post⁃production in house, at a creative agency, or postproduction house, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.

Bachelor's degree in film, photography, or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Capture One.

Proficiency in color grading and color correction techniques.

Experience in retouching product and lifestyle images.

Understanding of media file types and film deliverables.

Strong organizational and problem⁃solving skills, ability to work in a fast⁃paced environment and collaborate with a range of disciplines (marketing, creative, production, etc.).

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and creative approach.

Pro⁃active attitude: team player with a "roll up your sleeves" mentality.

Strong ability to work in an extremely agile way, prioritizing and working alongside the needs of the team.
