Freelance or Part Time Photographer's Assistant

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Photographer’s Assistant to support our luxury photography sessions. This freelance/subcontractor role focuses on organization, efficiency, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to anticipate needs and provide support while ensuring the photographer's creative vision and client plan remain the focus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup and breakdown of photography equipment.
• Manage lighting adjustments and on-set organization.
• Keep sessions on schedule by monitoring wardrobe changes, stylists and shot timing.
• Provide general assistance such as tidying the set, holding reflectors, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Capture behind-the-scenes video as directed.
• Maintain client and studio confidentiality and uphold a luxury brand standard.

Qualifications:

• Professional appearance required.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 30-50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and efficient.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a polished and professional demeanor.
