we are looking for a Sr Product Designer for a direct Retail / E-commerce client.

Job Title : Sr Product Designer

Type : Contract

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with product managers to identify potential opportunities, conceptualize new projects, and assist in defining requirements.
  • Estimate time requirements, establish milestones, and meet deadlines by working closely with program and project managers.
  • Produce low-fidelity sketches and flows to validate concepts during the initial stage.
  • Develop prototypes for user testing and communicate desired interaction to stakeholders.
  • Work with a UX researcher to evaluate proposed designs at various fidelity and prototype phases.
  • Design high-fidelity, pixel-perfect screen layouts and provide developers with detailed specifications and assets.
  • Communicate with engineering teams to ensure that final products align with the design intent.
  • Maintain well-organized Figma files and contribute to a robust design system.

Qualifications

  • With over 5 years of experience in product design, specializing in user experience and user interface design for both web and mobile applications.
  • Preference for experience in designing for e-commerce.
  • Proficient in using Figma, including Design Systems and Libraries.
  • Skilled in designing with design systems and component-based design approaches.
  • In-depth understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and design trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual design skills.
  • Proficient in designing for responsive layouts and various devices and platforms.
  • Able to work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and create effective design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with researchers to conduct user research, usability testing, and integrating findings into design iterations.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including process and final deliverables.
