This role is for a driven Junior Photographer Videographer at Paperboys, a growing video and photo production company specializing in high-end wedding videography and photography.
Base Pay Range
$50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr

About This Role
Your job is to assist your teammates (i.e. our Production Leads) in delivering excellence to their clients. Broadly, this means filming and editing weddings. As a Junior Photographer Videographer, you will:
- Learn the "Paperboys Way" of shooting and editing.
- Be an incredibly strong “Second Shooter” and Live Stream technician for wedding and corporate events.
- Act as a Lead Shooter for lower level events and be ready to take over if needed.
Advancement opportunities are available as this position is designed to equip you with the skills to ascend to a Production Lead role.

- Live events require quick thinking and calmness in high-pressure situations.
- You will be working primarily in the DMV area, with occasional travel to New Jersey, New York, Georgia, and Florida.
Your Life is Flexible:
- This position requires weekend work, with guaranteed two days off per week, typically Sunday and Monday.
Requirements
- A college degree in a related field.
- 1+ year experience in digital media.
- Experience with non-linear video editing (DaVinci a plus!) and/or Lightroom.

- Must be able to commute to the Paperboys office in Fredericksburg, VA at least once a week on mandatory in-office team day (Wednesday).
