What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Build and maintain strong media and influencer relationships to generate coverage for clients
2. Manage projects from concept through execution, tracking competitors and identifying opportunities
3. Generate and edit various communications materials, including press releases and award submissions
4. Participate in new business processes and networking events while mentoring junior staff
5. Set quarterly goals with management to track personal and professional growth

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably at an agency or startup
2. Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships
3. Strong writing skills with the ability to generate diverse communications materials
4. Experience managing projects and providing counsel on media opportunities
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectively

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Familiarity with social media influencer engagement and measuring ROI of communications activities
2. Previous experience in technology public relations
3. Established connections with key media contacts in the industry
4. Demonstrated creativity in developing PR campaigns and strategies
