About the Role

The Producer/Director is a visionary and hands-on leader responsible for driving the creative and logistical aspects of our productions. From concept development to final delivery, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with CRM’s mission and values. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership:

• Develop original concepts and oversee the creative vision for projects across multiple platforms.

• Write, edit, and approve scripts for a wide range of content, including documentaries, promotional videos, and digital media campaigns.

• Collaborate with writers, designers, and editors to ensure cohesive storytelling.

Production Oversight:

• Direct on-location and studio shoots, managing talent, crew, and all creative elements.

• Oversee the selection of locations, casting, and set design to bring the creative vision to life.

• Ensure technical excellence in cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing.

Project Management:

• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth production workflows.

• Supervise post-production, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final delivery.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Director of Photography, editors, and production staff to maintain CRM’s high standards of quality.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

Strategic Contribution:

• Collaborate with CRM leadership to align content with organizational goals and mission.

• Research and implement innovative production techniques to keep CRM at the forefront of Christian media.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Producer/Director, with a strong portfolio of work across various media platforms.

• Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that engage audiences.

• Expertise in all phases of production, from pre-production planning to post-production delivery.

• Strong knowledge of cinematography, lighting, and sound principles.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Avid and Final Cut Pro.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.

• Alignment with CRM’s mission to create impactful, Christ-centered content.
