Our client is seeking a
Litigation Legal Assistant
to support a
partner and an associate
in their
Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy Group . As part of a
small team , this role will also provide
overflow support
to other Litigation Legal Assistants as needed. The ideal candidate should be
detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in e-filing
in both
State and Federal Courts . Responsibilities:
Provide
administrative and litigation support
to assigned attorneys Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence E-file in State and Federal Courts , ensuring accuracy and compliance Manage
calendaring, scheduling, and deadlines
for attorneys Assist with
document organization, trial preparation, and case management Coordinate
client meetings, depositions, and hearings Handle
billing edits, time entry, and invoice processing Maintain electronic and physical case files using
document management systems Assist with
travel arrangements and logistical preparation for meetings Provide
overflow support
to other Litigation Legal Assistants as needed Investigate inquiries and provide timely responses
Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation experience
in a
law firm setting Experience with e-filing
in State and Federal Courts
is required Familiarity with
Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy matters
preferred Proficiency in
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with
Adobe Acrobat, Kofax, and DocuSign
preferred Working knowledge of
FileSite/iManage
a plus Excellent
organizational and time management skills Strong
verbal and written communication
skills Ability to
multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure Professional demeanor with a
collaborative, team-oriented attitude Notary public in Georgia
or willingness to obtain within 3 months of employment This is a great opportunity for a
