We are seeking a dynamic, goal-driven Senior Manager to lead and implement conferences and events in support of our marketing objectives for Freddie Mac’s Single-Family Division. This role is critical to ensuring our presence and messaging resonate with key partners, drive engagement, and enhance our industry position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for innovative event strategies and exceptional organizational skills, ensuring all events are performed flawlessly and deliver maximum impact. As the Senior Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in weaving our strategic ambitions into the fabric of our event marketing efforts, ensuring that each initiative not only meets but surpasses our high standards. You will play a critical role in the design and implementation of impactful conferences and events that align with our organizational goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving these efforts: Event Strategy and Planning:

Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for all conferences and events – virtual and in-person. Collaborate with other departments to align event goals with broader business objectives. Manage the event calendar, ensuring timely preparation and resource allocation. Lead the re-imagination and transition of our signature event – CONNECT – from a virtual to in-person event for 2025. Brand Presence and Promotion:

Collaborate with internal operations and strategy teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns. Research and recommend new opportunities for event participation, sponsorship, and engagement, extending our reach to key audiences. Provide consultative expertise to internal business partners for participation in industry events and activation of sponsorships. Logistics and Vendor Management:

Oversee the planning and execution of all aspects of events including space selection, logistics, budgeting and stakeholder engagement. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and industry partners. Coordinate compliance with company policies and facilitate requisite approvals for events and attendance by staff. Team Collaboration & Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals dedicated to event planning and execution, cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment. Work with cross-functional teams to fully use conferences and events as a marketing outreach channel. Manage relationships with partners across the business, balancing their priorities with marketing and event best practices to support their objectives within the broader context of the business and its brand. Return on Investment Tracking, Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct post-event debriefs to assess performance, gather feedback and identify areas of improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leaders on event outcomes. Use data and analytics to inform decisions. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 10+ years of experience in marketing with emphasis on event management, with a focus on trade shows, or industry events. 5+ years of leading a team of at least three professionals. Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple events/projects simultaneously. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in event management software and tools; experience with virtual and hybrid events is a plus. Experience or knowledge of mortgage industry, GSEs a plus. Ability to travel (up to 30%). CMP, CGMP or other relevant certifications preferred. Keys to Success in this Role:

FLSA Status: Exempt Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $142,000 - $214,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
