Deputy Director - Design

to assist in leading our talented team of designers (this role is not a people manager) in delivering innovative design solutions that align with our company values and drive success for our clients. What You’ll Do Oversee and manage design assignments while providing mentorship and guidance to other designers to ensure a high level of performance and creativity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic design solutions that exceed client expectations. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and company values, maintaining a consistent and cohesive visual identity. Stay current on industry trends and best practices, inspiring innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Who You Are Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 6 years of professional design experience, preferably in an agency setting. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated commitment to community involvement and creating a positive impact. Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
