Responsibilities The Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for leading the leisure sales strategy to maximize revenue and market share across key domestic and international leisure markets. This role will develop and implement sales initiatives, foster relationships with key clients and travel partners, and oversee the performance of the leisure sales team. The Director will play a pivotal role in positioning Fontainebleau Miami Beach as a premier destination for leisure travelers while driving revenue and ensuring the hotel’s financial objectives are met. Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: Develop and execute comprehensive leisure sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share growth. Lead and mentor the leisure sales team, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development opportunities. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in key national and international leisure markets, with a focus on high-value clientele. Foster and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel agencies, consortia, wholesalers, and other key industry partners. Oversee contract negotiations and ensure profitable terms are in place with travel partners. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry innovations to adjust strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including revenue management, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment on strategies and execution. Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and sales missions to enhance brand awareness and build business relationships. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior leadership. Ensure exceptional guest experience by working closely with other departments to uphold service excellence and guest satisfaction for leisure travelers. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven success in managing leisure sales for a luxury resort or hotel. Experience working with high-end leisure markets, consortia, and wholesale partners.
