Job Summary:
Technician III primary responsibility is installing and servicing electronic products at customer sites. They will transport equipment, organize supplies, and ensure installations are of the highest quality. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation & Calibration: Projector, flat panels, and screens.
- Equipment & Inventory Management: Overseeing van stock and maintaining van tools and appearance.
- Collaboration: Meeting with Project Managers (PM) and Lead Technicians to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Review: Understanding project details before deployment (sales order, scope of work).
- Component Placement: Clarifying and finalizing speakers, cameras, and equipment placements with clients or PM.
- System Setup: Installation of various systems (e.g., speakers, cameras, networks).
- Security & Confidentiality: Protecting client confidentiality and home security.
- Documentation: Daily updates on job status, time clock entries, and project documentation.
- Customer Service: Interacting with clients, especially high-profile ones.
- Compliance: Adherence to state/federal laws, including traffic laws.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of audio, video, security, lighting systems, and integration.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and fix issues promptly.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret home schematics or blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate installation and wiring.
- Customer Interaction: Professional and courteous in dealing with customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the integration industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certifications a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills.
