About Role
Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to become an integral part of our team. In this role, the Retention Marketing Manager will be responsible for owning the execution and analysis of performance in our retention channels (email, SMS, and loyalty) and partnering with the VP of Growth Marketing to build strategies for delivering on revenue goals in these channels. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, strategic, data-oriented, and has a strong background in email & SMS marketing channels.
Responsibilities Fully manage email (Klaviyo) and SMS (Attentive) channels through data-driven campaign calendar development and list growth strategies that ladder to overall company revenue goals Own the flawless building, scheduling, segmentation, and deployment of all emails & SMS campaigns and trigger flows Develop always-on journey flows, optimizing and building new welcome, post-purchase, abandonment, and lifecycle programs using insights from customer journey mapping & purchase data Own retention channels rigorous A/B testing roadmap to consistently optimize all elements of the email/SMS programs, including subject lines, segmentation, creative content, send times, and landing experience Responsible for robust weekly, monthly, and quarterly email, SMS, and customer reporting to cross-functional partners, leveraging data insights to impact go-forward strategies in retention channels Leverage customer insights across all data platforms and resources to support channel strategy. This includes cross-channel attribution, list growth initiatives, LTV optimization, and consumer insights from surveys and post-purchase surveys to inform content strategies. Develop a more in-depth segmentation strategy across all owned channels to improve customer retention rate, build cross-channel loyalty between bespoke and fine jewelry, increase customer lifetime value, and build personalized programming Partner with graphic design, integrated marketing, and merchandising teams to collaborate on story-telling opportunities that reflect learnings from reporting & testing and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels Oversee relationships with existing and new retention marketing vendors, staying up to date on the latest releases & identifying partnership opportunities to grow the channels Evaluate and deploy new retention marketing strategies across additional channels, including retail, paid marketing, direct mail, and other rising opportunities. Lead cross-functional projects that will improve customer retention outside of traditional marketing, such as product inserts, evaluating return rates, customer satisfaction, user experience, merchandising strategies, discounting, surveys, and customer insight work. Ensure all marketing efforts comply with internal guidelines, industry best practices, and legal regulations, including CAN-SPAM and CCPA Requirements
4+ years experience in email/SMS marketing role Proficiency in email marketing platforms & tools (Klaviyo/Attentive preferred) Proficiency in HTML/CSS Experience managing content calendar deliverables across cross-functional teams Strong understanding of CRM data & reporting structure Strong technical understanding of e-commerce tools Passion for fine jewelry space and alignment with our brand's values Proficient in Excel Details - NYC
Hybrid role located in midtown NYC (3 days in office) Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (with the possibility of weekends during busy season or sales) Health, Vision & Dental Insurance for full-time employees We offer generous employee discounts on our fine jewelry Paid time off Base Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
