NJ/NY Gotham FC ("Gotham FC" or "the Club") is a National Women's Soccer League ("NWSL") team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ.

The Role:

Gotham FC is looking for a creative, collaborative, and dynamic teammate to join the Club's Brand Marketing department to spearhead offline and local marketing efforts. This role will play a pivotal role in leading and developing how Gotham FC uses offline approaches to reach local fans to help grow local awareness and drive ticket sales for matches. The Manager of Brand Marketing will build new programs, such as the club's first-ever Street Team, and will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to bring new programs to life. This person will both lead and execute exciting new initiatives to ultimately help grow the next wave of Gotham FC fans. This role will be based on Jersey City Tues/Wed/Thursdays and report to the Director of Brand Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and own a field marketing strategy to help Gotham FC reach new audiences and grow local awareness, launching and leading a new street team, inclusive of:

Devising a unique strategy for the 'how' we show up that is differentiated Work with an external agency to create setup / buildout / approach Hire a team of part-time event staffers and actively manage them Build out an events strategy and calendar Develop a playbook for activation to drive new leads + Sales Actively manage staffing plans, event plans, recaps, and performance analysis Report on goals and progress

Lead local co-marketing efforts with businesses, other sports teams, and paid media outlets in the New Jersey and New York area to increase Gotham FC's awareness, inclusive of:

Building a book of comarketing partners and potential comarketing tests Outreaching to comarketing partners and developing shared activations on owned and organic channels Developing creative and working with other members of the marketing team to bring the content to life Reporting on the success of the initiative and whether we would repeat the same test again

Develop and own a new program designed to help fans get to Sports Illustrated Stadium, inclusive of:

Outlining potential tests and making a recommendation on what Gotham should test over time Bringing the program to life, including a go-to-market plan and developing marketing communications to unveil the program and sustain it Managing any vendors and serving as their dedicated point of contact Tracking results and sharing out "return" on the program

Qualifications:

4-6 Years Experience in a previous Marketing role, ideally with ownership of events or grassroots efforts BA in Communications / Marketing or other relevant field Knowledge of the sports industry, women's sports preferred Proven ability to build marketing programs and operationalize execution Ability to develop cross-functional relationships Experience leading net-new projects / programs that drive business impact Excellent written, verbal, and outgoing interpersonal skills Comfortable analyzing and reporting on marketing metrics Experience in HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Tableau are a plus Capability & Other Characteristics:

Location:

Based at Gotham FC's business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New

Jersey, on a hybrid working schedule which consists of three core in-office/in-person days (Tuesday,

Wednesday, and Thursday) and two non-core days (Monday and Friday), with the option of being in

the business office or remote. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as

away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise.

Ability to work at the team's soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham

FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of

Gotham FC's offices, practice facility and Sports Illustrated Stadium.

$70,000 - $80,000 annually
