At New England Wire Products Inc., the Print Shop Coordinator/Graphic Designer will support the sales, engineering, and printing teams in creating visually engaging content from client-branded graphics to be displayed on retail fixtures, to internal graphics such as presentations, packaging, promotional material, internal documents.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team, engineering team, industrial design team, and print/manufacturing department to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Format and design graphics, according to clients’ brand identities, to be displayed on retail fixtures, carts, endcaps, wing racks, etc.
  • Create dynamic media and marketing materials for NEWP utilizing photography, animations, illustrations, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain and manage content on our website Displayracks.com, as well as periodically updating graphic elements and images.
  • Setting up the printing/slitting equipment and coordinating the graphics schedules to meet our production schedule.
  • Work with our in-house graphics printing personnel to coordinate production printing runs, ensuring scale, proportion, color, and transparency layering issues are corrected.
  • Work to expand our own brand identity to appeal to a broader audience of prospective clients and customers.
  • Use UX/UI skills to create intuitive mobile-formatted instruction guides for display assembly in the field.
  • Maintain and update a library of graphics and artwork for future revision and reference.
  • Create internal graphics such as posters, presentations, documents, forms, etc.
  • Performs other graphic/visual related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellence in verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Suite of programs including Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs including, Powerpoint, Word, Acrobat, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and think innovatively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments toward multiple goals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Graphic Design, Communication Design, User Experience Design, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of related work or internship experience is highly preferred.
