Thompson & Johnson Equipment is a leading forklift equipment dealer, providing high-quality material handling solutions to businesses. We specialize in new and used forklift sales, rentals, service and parts.

Seeking a motivated Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand and drive customer engagement.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for promoting and managing all marketing and sales support activities for company product lines and services across various channels, including digital, print, and events. This role focuses on driving brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and CRM database management.

Additionally, this position includes Inside Sales responsibilities, such as handling inbound inquires, and processing leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement traditional and digital marketing strategies to build brand awareness through channels such as websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, and video content.
  • Coordinate lead generation programs from multiple sources, including T&J, OEM websites, and third-party platforms, while tracking and managing open leads.
  • Maintain and manage customer and prospect data, ensuring continuous improvement of CRM information.
  • Oversee customer feedback programs to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and participate in sales meetings by researching, developing, and maintaining long-and short term marketing plans.
  • Create reports and analyze marketing data to support decision-making
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend special events and trade shows
  • Manage promotional inventory and vendor co-op programs
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email, filtering and directing leads
  • Partner with different company departments
  • Update all company websites

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with CRM platforms (e.g., MS Dynamics CRM, Salesforce, Goldmine, Act, SAP)
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

M-F 8-4:30pm

Salary $56-$65 year
