Location: Phoenix Metro Dates: March 2-23, 2025 Compensation: Hourly Rate (negotiable based on experience) About the Event: Triple Crown Sports is looking for an experienced and passionate freelance photographer to capture the excitement and intensity of the 2025 TCS Spring Training Baseball Tournament . This premier event brings together youth baseball teams from across the nation, competing in one of the most dynamic baseball showcases of the year. Your work will play a key role in preserving the memories of the tournament for players, coaches, and families. Website: https://www.tcspringtraining.com/ Responsibilities: *There is a wide range of dates where TCS is looking for freelance photographer help. Not all days are required, but ideally the selected candidate(s) are available for most of the dates listed below. Championship Footage Details: Arizona Spring Championship runs 6 different sessions throughout March. Each session has a championship day where we need footage. Dates: Sunday, March 2 Sunday, March 9 Wednesday, March 12 Sunday, March 16 Wednesday, March 19 Sunday, March 23 Content: Photograph live-action gameplay, team interactions, and candid moments for pre-assigned championship games. Capture high-quality images of the moment that the winning team is celebrating their win with a team photo following the game. Ensure timely editing and delivery of photos. Team photo to be delivered at the end of that same day. Edited photos to be delivered within 48 hours post-event/game. Special Team/Club Coverage Details: Triple Crown Sports will coverage the event experience for two special Clubs. The goal of this project will be to capture content of pre-selected teams as assigned. Dates: Session 2: March 6-9 Session 6: March 20-23 Content: Photograph pre-game footage (warm up), game footage, and post-game interactions of the players, coaches, and parents. Approach this game coverage as a 'lifestyle' photoshoot. We certainly want live-action shots. But we also want to capture the overall experience of what it looks and feels like to participate in this tournament. Requirements: Proven experience in sports photography (youth sports experience is a plus). Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with variable lighting. Access to professional-grade photography equipment. Strong attention to detail and an eye for capturing dynamic action shots. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as the tournament schedule requires. Familiarity with baseball gameplay is a strong advantage. Preferred Skills: Photo editing experience with tools such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop. Ability to upload and organize galleries on a platform that you can easily share the final products with TCS. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with athletes, coaches, and event staff.
