This role is required to report in person to our Syracuse, NY Nascentia organizational office Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm.
Performance Responsibilities and Standards:
Serves as a contact for all aspects of the organization's website(s). Develops and maintains internet websites, forms, and structures in accordance with the organization's needs and security solutions; collaborates closely with Marketing/Communications, Human Resources and IT Department. Create and edit graphics, banners and other visual assets to design and develop visually engaging website layouts and user interfaces. Encourages and facilitates consistent, creative, and unified web design across the organization's web properties. Collects and analyze web analytics and similar data through digital marketing tools to analyze website traffic, user engagement, and overall performance, optimizing digital marketing strategies, improving search engine optimization (SEO) to enhance the company's online presence and drive improvements in search engine rankings, user acquisition, and conversion rates. Creating and implementing new features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) on website features to ensure functionality, compatibility across browsers and devices, and a positive user experience. Maintains and documents ownership of company's internet domains. Assists employees with use of company websites through one-on-one support, user guides, and training sessions. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws. Maintains current knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development, and technology. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; coursework in digital media, web design, and/or computer programming highly preferred. Associate degree with equivalent progressive professional experience required. Working knowledge of content management systems (i.e. WordPress) or ability to quickly learn content management systems, applications, and web tools used by the organization. Experience using Google Analytics and digital marketing tools for website and campaign analytics, SEO audits, keyword tracking, and competitor analysis. Fluency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages. Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work independently and meet stringent deadlines. Strong working knowledge of, and experience using a wide variety of software platforms including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to sit or stand 90% of the day. Speaking/visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend and express written/verbal communication. Frequent sitting, standing, walking Extended periods of computer use Ability to express self verbally and in writing. Ability to verbally communicate over a telephone.
Compensation & Benefits:
