Senior Interior Designer
CAD Proficiency Required

A prestigious luxury residential design firm is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with strong leadership, creativity, and management skills to join its boutique team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional luxury properties while working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

The Senior Interior Designer - Residential Interiors plays a lead role in directing the Design Team to ensure a productive workflow and successful project execution. This position is responsible for managing design projects, logistics, and daily priorities while serving as a liaison between the Design Team, Clients, Contractors, and Vendors.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a boutique, small practice, luxury residential interior design firm

  • Large firm experience is not required or desired

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD LT for Windows

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and QuickBooks

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $75,000 - $100,000, based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to overall project productivity and efficiency

  • Serve as a representative and key communicator between Clients, Vendors, and Contractors

  • Attend industry events as a brand ambassador

  • Manage project priorities, task lists, and logistics

  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, and AutoCAD efficiently

  • Prepare and direct PowerPoint presentations for clients and projects

  • Create and manage CAD Documents, including space planning, furniture placement, RCPs, flooring plans, tile details, and specialty walls

  • Maintain and update specification submittals and project documentation

  • Source materials and correspond with vendors/manufacturers to learn about new products

  • Prepare pricing estimates and assist in client payment requests (RFPs)

  • Oversee project logistics, including purchase orders and budget tracking

  • Review vendor plans and quotes for accuracy and manage necessary revisions

  • Delegate tasks to Design Assistants and Project Managers

  • Ensure timely submission of plans and specifications to Clients, Builders, and Contractors

  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications

  • Assist in installations and final project execution
