Position Summary:

PANTHERx is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications and Engagementto create and execute the internal communication plan and strategy for the organization in partnership with the CEO and CHRO. This role is responsible for ensuring that employees are informed in a timely manner about the company's happenings, mission, goals, and projects. They also work to create a culture of engagement across multiple locations by complementing the communication strategy and engagement activities including analyzing employee feedback, designing engagement initiatives, facilitating team-building activities, and monitoring the effectiveness of programs to boost employee satisfaction and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications:
  • In partnership with the CEO and CHRO, creates communication strategies that align to the company's goals and vision across multiple locations.
  • Creates calendar and rules of engagement to execute on the company's communication strategy.
  • Proactively enhances, maintains and supervises channels such as email, social media, and intranets.
  • Creates content for communication channels, such as newsletters, senior leadership communications and social media posts.
  • Promotes a positive work culture in collaboration with the executive leadership and other stakeholders and team members.
  • Advises senior executives and supports them at meetings with planning, content and presentations.
  • Improves communication infrastructure by working with other departments to improve communication content and tools.
  • Fosters strong partnerships and alignment with the Senior Director of Marketing to assure alignment with the brand and business strategy.
  • Collaborates with the HR Benefits and Operations Manager to support employee engagement on formal and informal wellness initiatives and related communications.

Employee Engagement:
  • In partnership with executive leadership, designs an employee engagement strategy that aligns to the strong company culture across multiple locations to build cohesive programs that align to company policies and procedures.
  • In collaboration with other HR Team members and other stakeholders, continues to build a vibrant workplace culture that aligns with our continued success in winning the best place to work award.
  • Conducts employee engagement surveys and analyzes results.
  • Communicates to effectively engage with employees at all levels, gathers feedback, and clearly communicate initiatives.
  • Collects feedback from employees through surveys and polls.
  • Collects and interprets employee engagement data, identifies trends, and translates insights into actionable strategies.
  • Develops and implements employee recognition programs In collaboration with other internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitates team-building activities and workshops.
  • Designs and manages employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with other HR team members and other stakeholders.
  • Monitors and measures the impact of engagement initiatives.
  • Remains updated on trends in employee engagement.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A creative ideas person who fosters out of the box thinking to develop effective strategies.
  • Good organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as needed.
  • Desire to be proactive and take full ownership of assigned projects, working independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possesses a sense of urgency; is self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships by listening and engaging with others.
  • Good verbal presentation, group dynamic, and facilitation skills.
  • Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, strategic communications, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Communication, Human Resources or marketing experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional home office and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax/copy machines.
