The Edward Jones Agency is a growing in-house team, looking for people who are ready to make an impact on our firm and the audiences we serve through strategic and creative excellence. We're looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Strategist III to join our team - developing strategically sound, emotionally resonant copy for large, complex efforts, focusing largely on digital (especially email) and 1:1 (personalized) communications.
  • Leads communication strategies for large, complex strategic efforts and brand initiatives.
  • Partners with firm leaders and matrixed teams to develop and execute strategic messaging, creative communication strategies, campaign concepts, tactical ideation, content execution, client materials and other deliverables that bring our differentiated brand to life.
  • Integrates and executes strategic messaging and/or verbal direction of content and campaigns, in collaboration with other creative and strategic partners; ensures approved strategy and creative direction remains intact throughout project's lifecycle.
  • Effective at building strong relationships and making highly complex issues easily understood to influence and gain consensus with peers and leaders, other internal audiences, clients, and prospective clients.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex, dynamic environments with changing priorities and deadlines and the ability to work in a team-based or matrix environment.
  • Able to deliver and apply feedback to ensure message, creative strategy, and brand voice alignment.


Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Hiring Minimum: $84100
Hiring Maximum: $143100

  • 6+ years of experience writing for marketing and/or internal communications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Deep understanding of channel best practices, including social media, websites, email, direct mail, and digital media.
  • High degree of personal initiative, organization, and attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to grow the firm's impact, make effective decisions, and deliver the right outcomes
